Kathleen Fox was born September 1880 in County Dublin. Fox was one of six children of Henry C Fox of Glen-a-gearagh Hall in County Dublin and Mamie Colclough of Tintern Abbey, County Wexford. Her father was a captain in the Kings Dragoon Guards and the Fox family originally came from County Tipperary.
Kathleen Fox attended The Dublin Metropolitan School of Art and spent time studying under the renowned artist William Orpen. Kathleen Fox has produced works across various mediums including watercolors, oils, enamels and stained-glass.
