Sligo Mac Diarmada Station is approximately a 15 minute walk from The Model, with frequent services to/from Dublin.

By Car

Sligo is well-connected via the N4 (from Dublin) and N15/N16 (from Donegal/Leitrim).
Use the eircode F91 TP20 for GPS navigation.

Coming from Dublin/Galway, follow the N4 onto the Sligo Ring Road and through several sets of traffic lights until you cross Hughes Bridge. Take the right turn as you cross the bridge, onto Markievicz Road, (signposted for the Town Centre). Follow the one-way system, taking a left onto Connaughton Road. Continue straight up Connaughton Road and pull into the second car park on your right hand side – you will see The Model building.

The first car park you enter is a metered daily car park and costs €3 per day, Mon–Sat 8.30am–6.30pm and Public Holidays 12–6pm.

A smaller carpark, is accessible from the first car park, has hourly parking charges.

There is free parking outside of the times mentioned above, and all day Sunday.

By Bike

If you can, why not reduce your carbon footprint and bike it to The Model. The building is easily accessible for cyclists and has nine bicycle parking spaces available, which are sited at the Connaughton Road entrance to The Model. Each rack provides a secure locking point for two bikes.

By Train

Seven Trains from Dublin (Connolly) daily. Journey time 3hrs. www.irishrail.ie

There are several Sligo County Council car parks within walking distance, offering hourly or day rates.
