Update from the Trades Club Revival

SLIGO EXPOOPEN CALL FOR ARTWORK

“What today, might be considered an art object?” invites all artists to contribute to an ongoing accumulation of ‘art-objects’ for an exhibition that will evolve as works arrive in a gradual process to build the show, culminating in an opening night action.

All works will be accepted in any medium. Max. 2 pieces per person. A €5 handling fee, and 15% commission on sales applies. All proceeds going towards The Trades Club Revival.

The show runs for 10 days in the Trades Club, Sligo from the 20 – 29 Nov. with an opening event on Friday 19 Nov.

To arrange delivery of works between now and the opening event please contact a.burthom@gmail.com or phone Adam at 087 6387120 or Ulli at 087 9306321. All works should be collected Monday the 29th Nov between 3pm and 7pm.

Exhibition curated/directed by Dahlia Vitez and Adam Burthom. A discussion will also be included in the programme about what the Trades Club could be, and what place it might occupy in the social and cultural terrain of the future.
