Over the coming weeks The Model will continue to present its popular talks series In-Focus via Zoom. The first of these took place on Weds 15 April and was with Strandhill-based artist Andy Parsons. The talk focused on a body of work Andy created in response to the  Metal Mariners Boat Building project in Finisklin, Sligo, where boats are collectively made and mended.

Parsons' work includes painting, print-making, drawing, artist books and sculpture. His also teaches, writes and curates, and is The Model’s Artist-in-Residence in Sligo University Hospital. See www.andyparsonsartist.com/the-boat-builders/
