Meet our volunteers: Celine

For a number of years Celine was flying high working in the airline industry. Having both travelled and worked aplenty, she decided it was time for a career break to explore other things that are important to her – including art.

*Why did you choose to volunteer at The Model:*
I have always had an interest in the arts, music and theatre. Getting involved with The Model is my gift to the arts. I invigilate at the exhibitions for half a day each week.

*What do you like most about volunteering at The Model:*
Interaction with the public is always a delight for me. I have met some very interesting people and it has been a privilege to see the wonderful exhibitions such as “*‘Jack B Yeats – The Outsider’*”:https://themodel.ie/exhibitions/jack-b-yeats-the-outsider and help others enjoy their experience here at The Model.”

There is a wonderful supportive, calm, caring team working at The Model. They fully include the volunteer team and organise help with training and information for volunteers. I’d advise anyone who is thinking about volunteering to come along and see for yourself!

*Get Involved*
We are celebrating our one year anniversary on May 01 2011 so it’s the perfect time to come along and see what we’re up to.
