Oscar night rolls around again this Sunday, 27 Feb. The only Irish nomination is the 15-minute short film The CRUSH, directed and written by Michael Creagh, with Sligo actress, Olga Werhly, in the lead role as the beautiful teacher, Miss Purdy.
Eight-year-old Ardal (played by newcomer, Oran Creagh) has a crush on Miss Purdy is devastated to learn she has a fiancé.
The Crush will be screened free at 2.30pm tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, 26 and 27 February as part of our ‘Free Short Films @ The Model,’ where every Saturday at 2.30pm a free short film will be screened in The Model Cinema. The Crush will be screened again on 12 March at 2.30pm.
