New Exhibition opens at The Model bringing Banksy work to Sligo
Work by world-famous street artist Banksy will be shown in Sligo this January as part of a new group exhibition opening at The Model.
The exhibition ‘Songs to the Siren’ opens on Friday 24th January. Curated by artists Paul Hallahan and Lee Welch and inspired by Brian O’Nolan’s veiled identity and Tim Buckley’s haunting song, it brings together internationally recognised artists including Banksy, Christy Brown, Sean Scully and many more.
To mark the opening, the curators will lead a public tour of the exhibition at 1pm on Friday 24th January, welcoming visitors to explore the works and hear the stories behind them. The exhibition will run from 24th January until 22nd March 2026 at The Model, Sligo. Admission is free.
