The Model is delighted to present Century, one of the largest exhibitions of work from The Niland Collection to take place to date. Century features more than 100 artworks in a ‘salon’ style installation, and explores over 100 years’ of Irish social and political life as reflected in artistic practice since the birth of the Irish state. Highlights will include a host of well-known works from Sligo’s Municipal Art Collection, alongside a diverse array of artworks new to the collection which have never been displayed previously. Artists will include Robert Ballagh, Rita Duffy, Mary Kelly, Brian Maguire, Jack Butler Yeats and many more.
