Dir: Martin McDonagh USA, 2017 115 mins
Starring: Frances Mc Dormand, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, Peter Drinkage, Abbey Cornish.
After months have passed without a culprit in her daughter’s murder case, Mildred Hayes makes a bold move, painting three signs leading into her town with a controversial message directed at the town’s revered chief of police. The film is as dark as they come, a pitch-black, laceratingly funny look at human nature at its most nasty, brutish and dim-witted.
