Telephone Explosions are ambient dream-pop duo Dolores Fogarty and Adrian Mee who formed in Maynooth in 2016. Their live show incorporates elements of shoegaze, retro electronic beats and ethereal vocals which impressed at the Body&Soul stage at Electric Picnic this year. Inspired by number stations, hidden transmissions and unbroken codes, Telephone Explosions plan to release their debut album in early 2018.

They released their first single “Pocket” on 16/01/17 which was described as “a serene slice of electronic dream-pop” by The Last Mixed Tape. Their follow-up is “Significant”, a harmonic meditation on our place in the universe, was released on 07/07/17. Both songs were written and recorded by Telephone Explosions and co-produced by Andrew Carroll.
