Royal Hibernian Academy Of Arts

Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts
Tue. 21  Feb. & Wed. 22 Feb.

Join us as we collaborate with the Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts in celebration of their 200 years of championing Irish art and artists, throughout 2023.

During their bicentenary year, the RHA will hold a progamme of celebratory events, across Ireland, which will look back at their history, celebrate the artists and architects who have shaped the RHA and look towards the next 200 years of the oldest artist-led visual arts organisation in the country.

This February, we are delighted to host the first RHA Assembly Meeting ever to be held outside of Dublin. This will be followed by a panel discussion with Academy Members led by Emer McGarry, Director, The Model questioning ‘What is the RHA?’, a tour of her exhibition Gather with Academy Member Niamh O’Malley to which all are welcome and a Masterclass in Anatomy for artists with Úna Sealy RHA Secretary and the first ever Professor of Art at the Royal College of Surgeons.
