Based on a Murakami short story, South Korean filmmaker Lee Chang-dong’s (Poetry 2010) has fashioned a masterful mystery thriller about obsession, unrequited love and alienation.

Desire turns to obsession as Jong-soo questions not only Hae-mi attraction to Ben, but also Ben’s very strange hobby.
