Beneath the Air
01 - 15 Oct. 2016 / This Autumn The Model Sligo has invited Bluestack Records and Art for Blind Records to curate a series of music called Beneath the Air. Taking place on two nights in October the series explores, supports and showcases a selection of repertoires from emerging and diverging artists.
The Altered Hours & Sea Pinks
01 Oct. 2016 / The Altered Hours exist in a swirl of the psychedelic and hypnotic, while Sea Pinks hold the listener from the outset hitting the sweet spot while making it sound easy.
Con Brio presents Notturno: Hugh Tinney piano
14 Oct. 2016 / Hugh Tinney will perform a programme with a distinctly nocturnal flavour featuring works by Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin, and Raymond Deane.
Looking Back and Out
13 Nov. 2016 / Contemporary poets, Shirley McClure, Peggi Gallagher, Monica Corish, Eilo Molloy, Maeve MacDermott, Winifred McNulty amongst others, read from their work and look back at poetry from the 20th century. The selected readings are inspired by paintings of women from the exhibition Fanned Apart.
