Informal Music Afternoons offer a mix of live music-making with programmes that are always varied and take place in the Atrium in the Model – a bright space, well fitting a midday event. The set-up is cabaret style with the café offering tempting fare.

“The Great American Songbook: 1900 to the Present”

Graeme Bourke (piano) and Denys Tims (vocals) present a selection of Songbook classic standards from songwriters such as Duke Ellington, Hoagy Carmichael, and Johnny Mercer and made popular by Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Amy Winehouse, John Legend, and many others.
