Join us for NCFA ‘Meet and Greet’ with policy makers and politicians

Do you work in the arts in Sligo or North Leitrim? Please join us on Monday 16 May at 2.30pm for a Meet and Greet with invited policy makers and politicians in the Northwest, to discuss the impact and penetration of the arts.

Meet and Greet at The Model is one of over 37 NCFAevents in each constituency or county around the country, providing an unprecedented opportunity for those working in the arts to make themselves heard, all at the same time.

We believe the arts are a significant driver of employment, cultural tourism and the creative industries. We also believe that Ireland´s global reputation has much to do with its unique arts and culture.

Organised as part of the ongoing National Campaign For The Arts, speakers will include artist Grace Weir, Sligo County Arts Officer Rhona McGrath and myself (Director/Curator at The Model). We will each be making the case for greater connectivity between the arts community and the policy makers. Also invited are local TDs.

We need your support, we need to gather as many workers and supporters of the arts here as possible. Please share this information with your colleagues, friends and family.
