Supporting Partners

The Model has, since 2010 engaged children, schools, young people and communities in visual art, performance and film through cross-community and cross-border collaboration. This programme has been made possible by the generous support of the International Fund for Ireland, an independent international organization set up by the Irish and British Governments in 1986.

Bringing together communities and young people from both sides of the border, both protestant and catholic, has been challenging and exciting, especially in the context of an evolving and changing environment. Building reconciliation and mutual understanding of cultural differences and commonalities between the two communities has been made possible through imaginative, engaging and thoughtful arts practice. The artistic journey for participants has been engaging, fun and informative.

The International Fund for Ireland is a three-year funded programme. The following is a list of projects funded by the International Fund for Ireland.
