Postage & Shipping
Important: Customers are advised to use a full and complete postal address, email address and phone number during checkout.
Orders of items that are in stock will normally be dispatched within 48 hours of receiving payment.
Once you have placed your order with us you will initially receive a response notifying you that we have received your order and that it is being processed. An email will be sent to the email address provided at checkout as soon as an item is despatched.
The email address and phone number provided at checkout will be used to communicate any problems with the order.
Any information provided at checkout will be used for this purpose only and will not be passed on to any third parties.
Postage rates are automatically calculated at checkout for individual items as well as combined items plus a small handling & shipping charge to cover costs.
There are three shipping methods available for shipping. Postage rates are in line with current An Post standard packet postal weight rates. They are:
Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland.
Europe and The Rest of the World.
International customers will be responsible for local taxes and customs fees and for any return postage costs if the package is refused.
Voucher codes will not be posted but sent to the email address supplied during checkout. This code can then be used in The Model shop either online or instore.
All items will be packed very carefully in a bubble wrap cardboard packet for protection from damage or breakage and hand delivered to our local post office.
We hope you are happy with your purchase, however if you are not completely satisfied please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 3 days of receiving your order and return within 7 days and we will be happy to refund or exchange, less postage and packaging costs.
When returning any items please obtain proof of posting as we cannot accept responsibility for packets lost during transit.
The goods must be returned unused and in their original condition and packaging.
Items that have been received damaged must be reported to us by email at email@example.com within 3 days of receipt, no responsibility can be accepted after this period.
